Co-Head Coach Carlos Dubose

- 8 years of coaching experience; before coming to ASA in 2021, spent 3 years at PWSI followed by 4 years at Gunston Soccer
- Currently coaches 2013B Blue and Black as well as 2010 Blue and Black at ASA
- Played in the Northern Virginia area as a youth at Lee Mount Vernon Soccer Club and Prince William Soccer Inc.

Co-Head Coach David Camara
A revered soccer coach with an illustrious legacy spanning over two decades in the DMV region. Armed with an Advanced National Diploma and National Youth License, David's coaching prowess is evident in his impressive track record, including 5 State Cup Championships across both boys' and girls' divisions. His unwavering commitment to player development instills confidence in players, fostering their ability to creatively express themselves on the ball. Many players he has nurtured have gone on to excel at the national and professional levels.

I have always striven to become a better coach — not just for my personal growth, but to guide our players in their development and support our coaching staff on their own journeys. I'm committed to instilling the values of the game — values that reach far beyond the field and positively shape lives. My goal is for both players and coaches to never settle for the status quo.

I believe in competing with intensity while staying committed to long-term development. Athlete growth is dynamic and non-linear, requiring patience, perspective, and individualized guidance. I challenge my players to step outside their comfort zones, knowing that discomfort is often where growth happens. My aim is to develop confident, intelligent, and resilient competitors, both on and off the field, who understand that progress is earned through consistent effort and reflection.

Coaching is my passion — my profession for 12 years, specifically football. I have coached in multiple countries, learned and adapted to different methodologies, and created my own methodology to train and mentor young athletes to maximize their potential. I am a staunch supporter of developing women's football.

I try to do this by continuing to be a student of the game, open to new ideas, and sharing what I've learned in 30+ years of coaching.
