Where Every Soccer Journey Begins

The Tots and Mini Soccer programs are ASA's entry point for the youngest players in our community. Designed for children ages 2–5, these programs focus on fun, movement, and foundational development — not competition. Every child progresses at their own pace in a welcoming environment built around their needs.

Tots Soccer

Ages 2–3 Years Old

Tots Soccer introduces our youngest players to the game through fun, age-appropriate activities in a positive and supportive environment. The program helps children develop basic soccer skills while building confidence, coordination, and a love for the game — all at their own pace.

All coaches are provided with instructions and activities that help children of this age develop fundamental soccer techniques. Children are grouped appropriately so instruction and activities meet their developmental level.

Registration includes an Arlington mini soccer ball.

Mini Soccer

Ages 3–5 Years Old

Mini Soccer introduces young players to the game through fun, age-appropriate activities in a positive and supportive environment. This program helps children develop coordination, agility, motor skills, and basic soccer techniques while learning at their own pace.

Coaches use structured activities designed specifically for this age group. Players are grouped appropriately during each session to ensure instruction matches their developmental level.

Registration includes an Arlington mini soccer ball.

Tots Soccer

Session Details

  • Session 1: September 7 – October 18
  • Session 2: October 21 – December 6
  • Season: Fall 2026
  • Available Days: Wednesday / Saturday / Sunday
  • Length: 6-week session | 45-minute sessions
  • Location: Arlington Training Center (ATC) — 140 S Wise St, Arlington VA 22204 (All sessions held INDOORS)

Available Times

  • 9:00am – 9:45am (Saturdays ONLY)
  • 10:00am – 10:45am (Wednesdays / Saturdays / Sundays)
  • 11:00am – 11:45am (Saturdays / Sundays)

Equipment Needed

  • Soccer Ball
  • Water Bottle

Parent/Guardian Requirement: A parent or guardian must remain on the premises and should be with the participant at all times to learn and interact with the young player.

Age Cutoff: Campers must be born on or before June 1, 2023.

Mini Soccer

Ages 3–5  |  Fall 2026  |  Multiple Arlington Locations

Age Eligibility

  • Ages: 3–5 years old
  • Age Cutoff Date: August 1, 2023 — only children born before this date are eligible
  • First-time registrants are required to provide proof of age

  • Madison Community Center (grassy area behind the center)

  • Soccer Ball (provided with registration)

Parent/Guardian Note: A parent or guardian must remain on the premises as a spectator (not a participant). Children must be able to independently participate in a group setting.

Mini Soccer sessions run across multiple days and locations. All sessions are 50 minutes. Select the day and location that works best for your family.

Proof of Age

First-time Mini Soccer registrants must provide proof of age. Please have documentation ready when completing your registration.
