Arlington Developmental Program (ADP) Director

Location: Arlington, VA Status: Part-Time, 15–20 hrs/wk Reports To: Executive Director Salary:$35,000–$45,000

Arlington Soccer Association (ASA) is seeking a passionate and organized Arlington Developmental Program Director to lead its Arlington Developmental Program (ADP), serving more than 650 players, 50+ teams, 25 professional coaches, and 100+ volunteer coaches. The Director is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and growth of the program while working closely with ASA staff, volunteers, and families to provide a positive, player-centered experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the Developmental Program
  • Plan and implement seasonal programming, curriculum, and schedules
  • Recruit, supervise, and support professional and volunteer coaches
  • Coordinate registration, communications, equipment, facilities, and logistics
  • Collaborate with Recreational and Travel Program staff on player development
  • Prepare annual program plans, budgets, and reports
  • Monitor program finances and operate within approved budgets
  • Plan and execute tryouts every March and June
  • Maintain consistent, clear, and timely communication with parents, coaches, and staff
  • Handle family concerns promptly and efficiently
  • Work closely with the Technical Director to ensure effective operations

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of soccer coaching experience
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience managing staff, volunteers, or youth programs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online registration systems
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends during the season
  • Successful completion of an annual background check

Preferred Qualifications

  • U.S. Soccer C License or higher
  • National Youth License or equivalent
  • Knowledge of U.S. Soccer player development principles
  • Experience with youth soccer club operations and budget management
  • Familiarity with Arlington Soccer Association programs
  • Familiarity with PlayMetrics

Facility Attendant

Location: Arlington Training Center (ATC) Status: Part-Time / Hourly Schedule: Nights & Weekends

The Arlington Training Center (ATC) is seeking a reliable and motivated Facility Attendant to support daily operations of our indoor soccer facility. This entry-level, in-person role helps ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for athletes, families, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain cleanliness of fields, common areas, offices, restrooms, and parking lots
  • Refill and restock supplies (paper towels, soap, etc.)
  • Monitor grounds and indoor spaces for a safe, organized environment
  • Assist customers, players, coaches, and visitors with basic needs
  • Enforce facility rules on and around the playing fields
  • Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
  • Unlock building in mornings and lock down after closing

Qualifications

  • Entry-level; prior facility or customer service experience a plus
  • Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Comfortable interacting with customers professionally
  • Able to work independently and stay proactive during shifts
  • Must be available evenings and weekends
  • Able to perform light physical tasks (cleaning, restocking, walking)
