Financial Aid
Arlington Soccer is committed to making soccer accessible for every family. We offer financial aid to help cover registration fees for youth players who demonstrate financial need.
Overview
Financial Aid Policy
Awards based on demonstrated need and available funds
The Arlington Soccer Association offers financial aid to financially challenged youth and their families to assist with registration fees whenever possible. Financial aid awards are based on the number of players demonstrating need and the extent of that need.
Our competitive programs may include several types of fees (registration and team fees) plus the county fee. Some fees are eligible for assistance and some are not. Fees do not include uniforms, equipment, travel expenses, tournaments, and showcases.
Important:
The registrant must be listed as an active recipient/beneficiary of any government benefits program cited. All required documentation must be provided in advance — there are no refunds
if documents are submitted after payment is made. Please direct all questions to financialaid@arlingtonsoccer.com. Coaches do not make determinations of financial aid.

Eligibility
How Aid Is Determined
Arlington Soccer uses the US Government Federal Poverty Guidelines as a baseline for financial aid eligibility. The final award amount is primarily determined by the documentation provided by the family and the child's residence location.
Residency
Whether you live within Arlington County affects the discount tier and whether the County USE fee is also covered.
Income Documentation
All pages of the 1040 plus a W-2 for each earning household member are required when applying via the income track.
Government Assistance
A qualifying lunch voucher, Medicaid letter, or Parks & Rec fee reduction form may be used in place of the 1040.
Available Funds
Not all players who demonstrate need will receive funds. Awards depend on the number of applicants and the extent of demonstrated need.
