Arlington Soccer Teams Advance to the Next Stage of Championship Competition

Arlington Soccer is proud to celebrate an exceptional postseason, with numerous teams earning the opportunity to compete at the regional and national levels across several of the nation's premier youth soccer competitions.


State Cup Champions Advance

Three Arlington teams captured Virginia State Cup titles and secured their place in the next phase of championship competition:

  • ARL 2012B Red – Head Coach Edwin Beltran
  • ARL 2012G Red – Head Coach Jillian Maslyn
  • ARL 2010G Red – Head Coach Gayle Wilson


Their State Cup victories are a testament to the dedication, resilience, and teamwork displayed throughout the season, earning them the opportunity to represent Arlington Soccer at the next level.


Presidents Cup Champions Moving Forward

Arlington Soccer also celebrated several Presidents Cup champions who qualified for regional competition following outstanding championship performances.


Qualified at the June 11 Event

  • ARL 2012B White – Head Coach Jawed Sanie
  • ARL 2013G White – Head Coach Aleksandar Dimitrijevic
  • ARL 2011G White – Head Coach Grant Smith


Qualified at the June 26–July 1 Event

  • ARL 2013G RL – Head Coach TJ White
  • ARL 2013B RL – Head Coach Jonathan Romero

These teams earned their advancement through determination, hard work, and a commitment to excellence, and will now compete against top clubs from across the region.


ECNL Regional League Teams Reach Nationals

Adding to Arlington's impressive postseason success, all five Arlington ECNL Regional League boys teams have qualified for the ECNL Regional League National Finals in San Diego, California, while all five Arlington ECNL Regional League girls teams have qualified for the ECNL Regional League National Finals in Seattle, Washington this July.

Having all ten ECNL Regional League teams advance to Nationals is a remarkable accomplishment and reflects the strength, depth, and consistency of Arlington Soccer's player development pathway. Their qualification places them among the top teams in the country and provides an opportunity to compete for national championships against elite competition from across the United States.


Arlington Soccer on the National Stage

This summer, Arlington Soccer will be represented across multiple regional and national championship events, including:

  • ECNL Regional League National Finals – Boys (San Diego, CA)
  • ECNL Regional League National Finals – Girls (Seattle, WA)
  • National Cup Finals (Boys) – Denver, CO
  • National Cup Finals (Girls) – Denver, CO
  • Presidents Cup Regionals – Loudoun, VA
  • Presidents Cup Nationals – Wichita, KS


Advancing to regional and national championship events is a significant achievement and a reflection of the commitment shown by our players, coaches, and families throughout the year. Their dedication, passion, and pursuit of excellence have created one of the most successful postseason campaigns in club history.
