Emery Stover

Emery Stover is a dynamic midfielder who played a pivotal role in leading the 2010 Girls ECNL team to the 2026 Showcase Cup Finals in Seattle. Known for her exceptional work ethic, defensive discipline, and relentless motor, Emery consistently brought energy, determination, and commitment to both sides of the ball, helping propel the team through an impressive tournament run.

Emery made some of her biggest contributions when the stakes were highest. She successfully converted penalty kicks in two matches and scored the game-winning goal in the quarterfinal against Utah. Her ability to embrace pressure and step up in critical moments, combined with her relentless effort and commitment to her teammates, made her an essential part of the team’s success in Seattle.

Head Coach Joe Nemzer shared, “Emery’s leadership, work ethic, and competitive mentality were on full display in Seattle. In the most critical moments, when the team needed her most, Emery consistently stepped up and delivered. Her performance was instrumental in our run to the Showcase Cup Finals, and we are extremely proud of the way she represented our club.”

Throughout the tournament, Emery’s consistency, resilience, and willingness to do the work for her teammates were key components of the team’s success. Whether contributing defensively, helping create opportunities in attack, or stepping up in high-pressure moments, Emery consistently put the team first.

Director of Coaching Mo Tayari shared, “Emery’s performance in Seattle was a tremendous reflection of the character, commitment, and competitive spirit we strive to develop in our players. She consistently competed at a high level, embraced the big moments, and put the success of her team ahead of herself. Her ability to make an impact on both sides of the ball, while maintaining a relentless work ethic, made her a deserving Player of the Month. We are extremely proud of Emery and the way she represented her team and our club.”

Joe Nemzer

Our Coach of the Month is Joe Nemzer. Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from both collegiate and youth girls’ soccer, giving him a strong understanding of player development and the pathway to the next level.

Joe coaches with energy, passion, and a genuine commitment to his players. He creates a positive and competitive environment while holding players accountable and challenging them to reach their potential. His high standards, enthusiasm, and ability to connect with players make a meaningful impact both on and off the field.

Director of Coaching Mo Tayari shared, “Joe brings tremendous knowledge, energy, and passion to our girls’ program. He genuinely cares about his players and is committed to helping them grow, but he also understands the importance of setting high standards and challenging players to reach their potential. Joe’s experience and passion make him a valuable part of our coaching staff.
