Arlington Soccer is excited to announce that registration is now open for the USL Youth League (USLY) program for the Summer 2026 season. (Registration will be done on PlayMetrics)

The USL Youth League is a nationwide summer league operated by the United Soccer League (USL), the largest organization of elite soccer leagues in North America. This highly competitive program provides high-performing players with the opportunity to continue their development through professional coaching while competing against top USL Youth clubs from across the country.

Arlington Soccer has a strong history of success in the USL Youth League, including five USL Youth National Championships, and we are proud to continue offering this elite pathway for our players.

 SUMMER 2026 AGE GROUPS (BOYS & GIRLS)

Below are the official age groups and birthdate ranges for Boys & Girls for the upcoming USL Youth League 2026 season.

For the Summer 2026 season, Arlington Soccer plans to field USL Youth League teams for boys and girls born between August 1, 2011 and July 31, 2017.

Players born after July 31, 2017 may inquire but would only be considered to play up at the discretion of the coaching staff.

 WHAT TO EXPECT

Training & Schedule

• Teams will train twice (2x) per week, beginning in mid-June and continuing through the first week of August.

• Recognizing that summer schedules often include vacations and other commitments, teams may carry larger rosters to help manage player availability.

Competition

• Matches will be competitive and played against other USL Youth League clubs throughout the season.

Important Note on USL Youth League Finals

• The USL requires that any team earning a bid to the USL Youth League Finals must attend.

  • Failure to attend results in a significant financial penalty to the club.

• Players selected for a Finals roster are expected to attend and will be responsible for travel-related expenses (transportation, lodging, etc.).

Finals Eligibility

• U11–U15 teams that win their league are eligible to qualify for the USL Youth League Finals.

• The Finals are typically held in early December in Florida.

• There is no Finals event for the U10 age group.

 TEAM SELECTION PROCESS

• There are no formal tryout dates for USL Youth League teams for current Arlington Soccer players.

• Current Arlington Soccer players must register by February 7, 2026 to be considered for team placement.

• Players from outside the club who are interested in the program may be invited to attend a team training session for evaluation purposes.

• Teams will be formed collaboratively by the coaching staff, and players will be notified of their status by early March.
