Arlington Rec Soccer Program - Spring 2026 Calendar of Events for Coaches and Families
Registration:
Registration for Arlington Rec Soccer is expected to open on or around November 5, 2025.
Practices:
Practices will begin in early March. Players and families will be contacted by the player’s coach with details about the day, time, and field.
- If you have not received communication by mid-March, please reach out to the appropriate Club Manager listed under the “Clubs” section on the Arlington Soccer website.
Games:
Kindergarten Teams:
- Spring games follow the same schedule as other teams but with seven games total.
- Saturday start times range from 8:30am - 5:30pm, with Sunday games starting at 12:15pm if needed.
1st - High School Teams:
- Games are generally scheduled on Saturdays beginning in April, with at least one Sunday game.
- Teams can expect eight (8) games in total.
- Saturday start times range from 8:00am - 6:30pm.
- Depending on the number of teams in a division, one or more Sunday afternoon games may be scheduled, starting at 12:15pm.
Inclement Weather:
- Rained-out games are automatically rescheduled on Sunday afternoons.
- If there is a full day of rain-outs on grass fields, games will move to the Rain Date weekend in June.
- Individual requests for rescheduled games cannot be accommodated.

Important Note: Registration is not complete until payment is submitted. Payment date determines team placement. All registrants—including those requesting financial aid—must submit payment by the designated deadlines to secure placement.
👉 Registration Information & Fees
November 5, 2025 – January 31, 2026: Return-to-Team Registration
- Fee: $135 per player (plus county fees)
- Who it applies to: Returning players from Fall 2025.
- Returning players registering before the end of January are automatically returned to their previous team, unless a Special Request is submitted.
- To leave a team or request a different team, you must submit a Special Request or write to your club manager or Rec Director after registration.
- New players or those making a Special Request will be placed in early to mid-February based on registration order.
- Players who did not play in Fall 2025 are not eligible for Return-to-Team and must submit a Special Request for placement consideration.
February 1, 2026 – February 16, 2026: Rec Registration Period
- Fee: $145 per player (plus county fees)
- Completed registrations during this time will be placed on available Rec teams.
- Return-to-Team placement no longer applies.
February 17, 2026 – End of Registration: Waitlist / Late Registration
- Fee: $155 per player (plus county fees)
- Registrations completed during this period will be placed on the Waitlist.
- Team placement for Waitlist registrants occurs as space becomes available, and may be finalized as late as the first scheduled games.
Note for Travel Players:
- No Travel players are permitted on Rec teams after 4th grade.
- Programs with tryouts (PAC, Travel, etc.) are considered Travel; ADP is an internal program and does not count as Travel.

👉 Special Notes & Traditions – Arlington Soccer Association
- Multiple Sunday Games: Some teams may have more than one Sunday game. This calendar is provided for illustrative purposes only.
- Fall Tradition – High School Cup:
- A free tournament open to all High School teams. (Only in Fall)
- Spring Tradition – Silent Soccer:
- Held on the weekend of Mother’s Day (when teams usually have Sunday off).
- Players 2nd grade and above communicate only with each other on the field—coaches and adults do not speak during play.
- Coaches may give instructions during half-time only.
- Silent Soccer is a fun, long-standing Rec tradition and a unique change of pace for players.
- More details will be provided to coaches and parents as the date approaches.
- Register Early: Early registration increases the likelihood of placement, especially for Kinder and 1st-grade new players, as teams are smaller and space is limited.
- Payment Matters: Registration is not complete until payment is received. The date of payment determines placement eligibility.
- Special Requests:
- Special Requests are not guaranteed.
- Be sure to enter the full name of the player, coach, or team in Step 2.4.
- Returning players who missed the previous season should enter their team preference in the Special Request box.
- Financial Aid:
- Requests are typically processed within two business days.
- To meet deadlines, register early and submit payment promptly if applying for aid.
- Proof of Age:
- New players must provide proof of age during registration or via the separate “Upload Proof of Age” form.
- Note: Proof of age must be uploaded after registering, due to system requirements.
- Additional Funding:
- Grant funding is available through Dick’s Sporting Goods and All Kids Play to help families who need financial support for youth sports.
