Team USA competed in three international friendlies in Costa Rica

Five members of the Arlington Soccer Elite Futsal Academy presented by Dogtopia of Falls Church competed on the U.S. Women's Futsal National Team during its first-ever international matches in Costa Rica.
Paige Pierson, who is a current Arlington Elite Futsal coach and played for the club's women's team this past winter, headlined the group for Arlington Soccer. Auryn Tillette, Carlie Banks, Jeanette Fieldsend and Jordan Felton, who also play and train with the Elite Futsal Academy, were also called up to the national team.
Team USA held training camp from Feb. 21-March 2 in San Jose, Costa Rica and played three international matches against Costa Rica. The U.S. finished with two shutout victories and a tie. Fieldsend finished the week with four goals and an assist. Banks, who served as team captain for the U.S., also scored a goal and Pierson, who played collegiately at Marymount University and VCU, added an assist.
This was the second of three training camps this year prior to the 2025 Concacaf Women’s Futsal Championship to be held April 29-May 4 at the Domo Polideportivo, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, with the top-two finishers qualifying for the first-ever FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup, from Nov. 21-Dec. 7 in the Philippines.
