ASA Hosts Successful Spring Tournament
ASA’s Travel Soccer Club hosted the third annual Arlington Spring Invitational Soccer Tournament (ASIST) over two weekends March 1-2 and March 7-9.

Youth Referees of the Year

Cecilia Quinonez and David English were voted the Youth Referees of the Year for 2006.
They were selected based on the votes of the coaches and the league administrators.
Cecilia and David are pictured above with ASA Referee Commissioner Harvey Snyder.

Arlingto Soccer Association After-School Soccer Program

ASA's new Soccer Plus program combines after-school tutoring and soccer. Soccer Plus Director Shomit Mukherjee began pilot programs in three elementary schools -- Barcroft, Carlin Springs, and Hoffman-Boston.

Soccer Plus Teams at McSoccerfest

Three ASA Soccer Plus teams, two from Barcroft School and one from Carlin Springs School, played at the Spring 2007 McSoccerfest in Columbia, MD. Alex Vallejos, Laura Hatton and Jared Tucker coached the teams..
