The Board has the responsibility for enforcing and interpreting the Bylaws and Operating Procedures of the League. The League Administrator is charged with conducting the day to day business of the ODSL pursuant to the directives of the Board.”
ODSL is also interested in building awareness of their sportsmanship award, which is described as follows:
“Each season the teams in the ODSL vote for a team in their division which exhibits the best sportsmanship. Also, points are subtracted for yellow and red cards accumulated during the season. In order to break ties, sportsmanship points are averaged from each referee report card and added to the teams points. The prestigious award is named after Randy Rawls, one of the leagues original founders and its first President. The award honors the winner’s sense of fair play, something for which Randy was renowned as he sought to bring soccer opportunities to the youth of Northern Virginia. Randy has since retired to Florida where he authors detective mystery books www.randyrawls.com
