Klurfeld Scholarship Fund

Klurfeld Travel Soccer Scholarship Fund

The Klurfeld Fund was established in 2000, in memory of Scott and Janis Klurfeld, who were killed in a tragic accident on I-95 while driving their son and a teammate to a preseason tournament for the (then) U14 Arlington Thunder. The accident, which both boys survived although with serious injuries, deeply shocked and saddened our soccer community. This accident prompted ASA to establish the Klurfeld Travel Soccer Scholarship Fund in their memory. The Klurfeld Fund provides financial support to Arlington Travel soccer players who might otherwise not be able to afford to play.

The Klurfeld Fund exists through the donations of supportive soccer parents and other soccer advocates. The fund desperately needs replenishing. Please help ASA keep our financial assistance fund strong by making a tax-deductible donation to the Klurfeld Travel Soccer Scholarship Fund.

Send a check now while you’re reading this! Any amount, no matter how small, will make a difference to a talented player.  Tax-deductible donations may be sent to:
