Youth Referee
Class
March 24, 26 & 29, 2008
This class certifies you
to officiate Arlington Soccer Association 5 v 5
recreational play for U8, U9, and U10.
- Players, coaches, parents
and others are welcome.
- Attendance is required
both evenings and Saturday field practice.
- This 5-hour class is free.
- Minimum age is 13. No maximum.
- You must pre-register so that enough materials are
available.

More Information:
- New ASA refs earn $14 per game. If a
referee officiates 8 games in one season, pay increases
$4 per game in the subsequent seasons. Maximum pay is
$30 per game.
- New ASA referees receive a $35
uniform allowance. SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS. Attach them to
the pay slip at the end of the season.
- Referees choose games, times, and fields which they
wish to officiate. (Generally, our more senior
youth refs will have the first choice of games, but
there are plenty of games available.)
Assignment & Recognition
Session
- For officiating the first
week's games is Thursday, April 10, 2008, 7:00 p.m.-8:15
p.m., Williamsburg Middle School Cafeteria.
