players, coaches and

The Spring Soccer Season starts April 12 for the U8 and
above and April 19 for U6 and U7. See details

ASA is offering an informal course for all parents of
youth soccer players.
Everything
You Always Wanted to Know
About Soccer . . . but were afraid to
ask!
Come learn the rules of the game, the skills and
strategies player's need and other interesting facts about the
world's greatest game.
Wednesday, April
16th 6:30pm at the Langston Brown Community
Center
- Tuesday, April 22nd
6:30pm at the Walter
Reed Community Center
Sessions will contain the same
information.
All parents are welcome to

FOR COACHES:
Are you a coach now or do you
want to coach?
ASA's Coaching Education Program
offers classes, clinics and help at practices for all levels
of coaches, from novices to advanced.
ASA Technical Director Bob Bigney
works with ASA coaches in Arlington and Falls
Church. Coaching clinics are free, open to all, and
designed for all ASA coaching levels.
Topics for the spring coaching
clinics include:

- Using a Scrimmage to Teach Soccer

Soccer Association are also offering three coaching classes in
Arlington this Spring:

- U8 and Above -- First
games: April 12, Saturday
U8 and above will play on 8
Saturdays - April 12 - June 7. No games on Memorial
Day Weekend. June 14 is rain date.
U6
and U7 -- First games: April 19,
Saturday
U6 and U7 will play on 7
Saturdays - April 19 - June 7- with one game on a
Sunday.. No games on Memorial Day Weekend.
June 14 is rain date.

OTHER NEWS
Arlington Spring Invitational
Tournament (ASIST) Hosted by the Arlington Travel
Soccer Club over two weekends this March. Top boys
teams from around the country will be playing on the weekend
of March 1-2, while girls play the following weekend, March
7-9.
