ASA is still accepting donations of used ASA uniforms (Travel, ADP, or Recreational) to help children at the Arlington Academy of Hope (AAH) in Uganda. ASA players will organize and package the uniforms for shipment to Uganda.

More information on AAH can be found online at aahuganda.org.

In the fall of 2015, ASA families donated enough uniforms pieces to make over 300 full uniform kits. These kits were delivered to the AAH school in February, 2016. During this year’s collection period, there will be plastic bins at several collection sites in Arlington (see below link). Clean shirts, shorts, and socks will be accepted. A full kit is not necessary, but if you have a full kit, it would be wonderful for you to organize the kit in a gallon plastic bag and mark the outside of the bag with the size – ex. Youth Large. Unfortunately, we can’t accept cleats, shin guards, or balls as part of this uniform drive.

We also have a need for 3-4 large roller suitcases if you have a used one to donate. Volunteers traveling to Uganda will use these to transport the uniforms. (Please contact Zach to schedule a time to pick it up.)
