An Introduction to Coaching Youth Soccer

Two new DVDs show novice coaches how to organize and conduct training.

  • Volume 1 is for U6 & U8 team coaches
  • Volume 2 is for U10 & U12 team coaches

Each volume features information on creating effective training sessions, live sample activities and a companion coaching booklet on the DVD to get you started.

These DVDs are for coaches new to soccer or coaching youth players.  It is meant primarily to assist them during their first season as bridge until they can attend the appropriate state coaching course.

The DVD can be a supplement to state coaching courses, but not a replacement.  More information about DVDs on US Youth Soccer website.
