All,

Thank you to all who contributed to this past weekend's Hurts Hammers
GU-11 Bake Sale/Fundraiser. The girls worked very hard work, baking and selling, and the event was a great success and learning experience. The girls raised $145.65 for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington.

At practice last night, the girls presented a check to Jennifer Newman, the Manager of Education and Community Services at the Animal Welfare League. Jennifer, in turn, presented each girl with an Animal Welfare League bandana and invited the team to come by the shelter some time for a tour. A picture of the team and Jennifer (with her dog) from last night is attached.
