Arlington Alumni on Their Pathway to the Pros

Congratulations to Owen Walz, Mathias Yohannes, Abdellatif Aboukoura and David Ayala, alumni of Arlington Soccer Academy Program who were promoted to DCU Youth Academy, and now have received their opportunity to train professionally with Loudoun United.

"We are proud to keep working closely with DC United to help develop the next generation of professional players from the DMV area", shared Oscar Feliu, the Arlington Soccer Boys Academy Director.

Dave Sanford, the DC United Youth Academy Director, remarked, "We are extremely pleased with the transition of Owen, Mathias, and David from Arlington Soccer to our academy at D.C. United. They have been impactful players within our group and raised the level of our academy. Most recently, they have had the opportunity to train with professional players at Loudoun United as they prepare for the 2021 season. They have earned this opportunity and we are pleased to see them challenged in a new environment. We will continue to track their progress as they integrate through our professional pathway in the coming months.

Arlington Soccer are proven developers of talent and have done great work in this region for many years. German and Oscar do a great job of leading the way and we share a vision for the top-level soccer player in our area."

Congratulations, Owen, Mathias, Bouchy and David!   Keep up the good work!
