Arlington, Va. – Arlington Soccer Association is proud to announce that Amazon will become a corporate partner of the club. “We are excited to form a meaningful partnership with Amazon,” said Adam Brick, Executive Director of Arlington Soccer. “Since establishing their presence in Arlington, Amazon has been involved in a variety of community initiatives and this partnership further demonstrates their commitment to supporting the children and families of Arlington. As with all our corporate partners, Amazon recognizes the important role that Arlington Soccer plays in the lives of more than 9,000 families we serve, and our strong reputation as a leader among youth sports organizations.”
Amazon’s partnership will support club-wide programs including the Real Madrid and Girls with Goals programs that provide professional coaching and life-skills learning opportunities to hundreds of underserved Arlington County elementary and middle school students at no cost.
“Amazon continues to support our neighbors as we grow and build in Arlington. This summer, we are more thankful than ever for Arlington’s ability to host extracurricular activities for kids safely outdoors. Arlington Soccer has provided an incredible service to the community for more than 50 years and we are proud to support opportunities for youth of all abilities and backgrounds to participate in afterschool programs that build a sense of teamwork and community for years to come,” said Amazon Head of HQ2 Policy Brian Kenner.
Beginning this fall, Amazon will be recognized with its logo on the back of the travel program jerseys. “We are thankful for Amazon’s support of the club and we look forward to a long partnership,” commented German Peri, Arlington Soccer’s Technical Director. “The reputation of our club is built on the strong foundation of players and coaches and the name ‘Arlington’ is well-known in the youth soccer world.”
